Lionstone Group operates across the West Africa Region, where recent macro-economic and geo-political trends such as strong commodity prices, stabilizing currencies, reduction in inflationary trends, and a movement towards free markets, open democratic societies as well as reduction in conflict zones have led to significant economic growth and increased foreign direct investment in the region.
Concurrently and consequently, the region continues to experience renewed investor confidence, significant wealth creation, a growing economic middle class and cast improvement in telecommunication infrastructure linkages between individual country economics.
It is in this contemporary West Africa that the Lionstone Group was founded and has elected to focus its business activities by bringing together superior access to market, financial and intellectual capital as well as world class strategy development and flawless execution. Lionstone has built, and continues to grow a business platform that operates across carefully selected business sectors. Biography of the CEO
Amaechi Ndili was until the formation of Lionstone, a Managing Director at GE Capital Real Estate Group. Prior to joining GE Capital, Amaechi was a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company – providing strategic advice to companies primarily in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Power sectors. Prior to McKinsey he was an Investment Banker with the Leveraged Finance Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. From 1991 to 1995 he was the Director of Developments for the Hornsey Trust, a UK based developer.
Amaechi has an MBA from the Wharton School as well as an M.Sc. in Land Economics from the University of Bath, UK. He also has a B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc in Architecture from the University of Nigeria.
